Highlights
Xiaomi 13 Lite is the Lite version of the Xiaomi 13 series phones. Lite usually means with lower price and configuration. This is one of the major releases of 2023 for its price category as Xiaomi continues to deliver attractive and stunning smartphones and remains as one of the leading brands worldwide. If we just look at its design, it’s very finely crafted and is very distinguished. It is just 7.2 millimetres slim putting it in the club of the slimmest smartphones out there. This is another layer of brilliance in its design factor. The back part looks very exquisite with a rather unique camera visual, different colours, gradients, patterns and with that Xiaomi logo and yes, it is also made of glass. There is Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and an IP53 dust and splash resistant body. It gets A1 mark on the first impression.
The 6.55″ size isn’t the largest, but still a good standard size for a display. A Full HD+ AMOLED quality with 68 billion color support and other features mentioned in its specs sheet above leaves no room for any complaints. However, one of the major highlights of this gadget is its dual 32+8 MP front camera placed in the upper section of the display as a double punch-hole which is rare these days. It has dual-LED flash and the main 32 MP camera is a 100º ultrawide lens and the 8 MP lens is a depth sensor for bokeh effect. The back camera has 4K video recording @30fps and can capture overall good and satisfactory photos.
Another great thing about Xiaomi 13 Lite is that it charges fully in a maximum of 40 minutes, although the battery is 4500 mAh and not a typical 5000 mAh one. The 4 nm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset from Qualcomm is a superb performance and gaming chipset at this price point. It has a Nanoreview gaming score of 49 (in October 2023) which is a very good score for a phone around BDT 40,000. There is also an optical in-display fingerprint sensor. The 13 Lite from Xiaomi is a 5G-supported smartphone. It is expected to receive the Android 14 update which was released in October 2023 and have security updates till August 2026.
